this weekend, birthday pretties, and summer

30 May

We spent this weekend not really doing anything. We had a wonderful birthday party to go to for a friend’s little boy on Saturday, but then we just did things around the house. The heat is reminding us that summer is right around the corner. While I’m not looking forward to the humidity and high temperatures, I’m excited to eat the veggies we’re growing in our garden and to visit some of the many farmer’s markets in our area. We also have 4 family vacations planned this summer which will equal more than 4000 miles driven by our family, in our Jetta with the 3 littles!! Fun times, I tell ya!

This Tuesday, my baby, and only baby girl turns 2?! Where has time gone?! Her party isn’t until the weekend, so no fun party pictures until next week. In the meantime, here’s a little eye candy of what’s being planned:

a. custom invitations created by me

b. circle garland (here)

c. cake (being created by here)

d. Harper’s dress (here)

e. custom bubbles as favors

f. owl treats (here)

g. mini bunting for cake

h. pink, chocolate dipped rice krispie treats

So excited to party with my sweet baby lady with friends and family! We’ll be busy this week!
